Comedy in Lithgow Last Night
Huge thanks to everyone who came along for our first comedy night in Lithgow last night!
It was such fun to put on our comedy show at Club Lithgow – Lee and her staff were amazing and it was a great venue to perform in! Big thanks to Sharron Bowman too for helping us make it happen
And what a fun night we all had!
Our MC for the evening was Peter Meisel, who had done some hilarious research on Lithgow before the show and was happy to share with us!
After some rousing reflections on the origins of Lithgow and ensuring the laughter was well and truly started, Peter brought to the stage the amusingly understated David Poltorak.
Always keen to have fun with a new audience, Claudia Rae was next on stage and got great laughs, starting with protection from the sun!.
With some side-splitting stories of mistaken identity and his clever interpretations thereof, Harry Jun kept the laughs coming!
Perhaps getting the biggest laughs of the night, Peter Gleeson was up next, administering huge doses of laughter to our audience with the tale of his recent medical procedures.
Leaving us on a laughter high at the end of the first half of the show was the excruciatingly funny Stephanie Broadbridge.
After a break for our stomach muscles and jaws to recover (and maybe refresh our drinks), the big man of comedy Rob Andrews returned the room to full laughter levels!
The next comedian on stage was Sean Morahan who kept us laughing with all the names he calls himself.
Hilariously reminding our Lithgow audience of multiple dangers of visiting the beach, our penultimate comedy act was Thao Thanh Cao!
Finishing off a fabulous night of comedy for us with an avalanche of laughter was Peter Green.
Once again, a big shout out to the awesome staff at Club Lithgow for looking after everyone so well.
We hope to be back in Lithgow for another show very soon!
