Harry Jun
Harry’s comedy has been described as “energetic”, “likeable” and “cheeky”. He hopes that one day it is described as “funny” or “something that his parents are proud about”.
Harry is a keen performer who has made his way to nearly every comedy gig in Sydney. Sometimes he is even asked to perform at them. Harry has performed interstate in venues across Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.
Much like Trevor Noah, Kumail Nanjiani and Osama Bin Laden, Harry is also a Pisces and he thinks about this a lot. Harry sacrifices a lot for comedy including his dating life, work-life and health even though this is highly unnecessary, and no-one even asked him to.
Harry has really bad posture because he has nothing to be proud about.
When Harry was little, he thought that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were real and would stuff pizza crusts in the holes of manhole covers in the hopes of luring them out and meeting them. In retrospect, he realises that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles love PIZZA and not PIZZA CRUSTS, and while he could easily correct this error now as an adult, he does not ever want to meet the Middle-aged Mutant Ninja Turtles.
On Twitter, an unknown individual has created an “Evil Doppelganger” account called @EvilHarryJun1 with the premise, “What if Harry Jun was evil?”. It currently has 1098 followers and counting. Harry’s actual Twitter account has 121 followers.
In 2019 Harry was a RAW Comedy NSW State Finalist. He also debuted his solo comedy show ‘Did You bring Enough for Everybody?’ which he performed over three nights at The Factory Theatre during the Sydney Fringe Festival.
Also in 2019, Harry was called “a little bitch” by a student at the school he teaches at. Life is full of peaks and valleys.
